De product deflect radiation away from the user instead of absorbing it (for wireless products such as cell phones, the World Health Organization does not recommend the use of shielding products claiming to absorb radiation). Since radiation is deflected rather than absorbed, the saturation and seepage that normally occurs within a few minutes when using an absorption type shield does not occur.
